Concurrent Events Scheduled
in Downtown Cleveland for Friday, May 2nd

Quicken Loans Arena
Cher D2K Tour at 8:00 p.m.

Cher is bringing the D2K Tour to Quicken Loans Arena with special guest Cyndi Lauper. This will be Cher's most dazzling and spectacular concert tours of all time, promoting her recent album Closer To The Truth.

Progressive Field
Cleveland Indians vs. Chicago White Sox at 7:05 p.m.

Playhouse Square
“Dazzle the District” Celebration beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Taking place in the heart of the PlayHouse Square District, this special event is estimated to draw between five and ten thousand guests. The evening kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and includes a live performance by music artists Hot Chelle Rae at 8:30 p.m., followed by the chandelier lighting ceremony at approximately 9:30 p.m.


During concurrent events, the public is advised that heavy traffic conditions are possible and parking may be limited. Traffic patterns around The Q and Progressive Field may also be altered.

Please also note that due to the Dazzle the District celebration, the following roads will be closed on Friday, May 2nd:

  • Euclid Ave. will be closed between East 13th St. and East 18th St.
  • East 14th St. will be closed between Euclid Ave. and Prospect Ave.
  • East 17th St. will be closed between Prospect Ave. and Euclid Ave.
