Is "On the Edge" And Coming To Cleveland on March 20

Headlined by Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen, joined by 2008 World Champion Jeffrey Buttle and an Impressive Cast of National, World and Olympic Figure Skaters
America’s premier figure skating production, Smucker’s Stars on Ice, expands its boundaries as it returns for the 23rd season. The all-new production “On the Edge” promises to keep fans on the edge of their seats as the best skaters in the world show their amazing moves on the ice. The show is scheduled for March 20, 2009 at the Quicken Loans Arena at 7:30 p.m. Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen returns for her second season with the tour and this year, reigning world champion Jeffrey Buttle will make a special appearance in Cleveland. With a world title to his credit, Buttle announced his retirement from competitive skating on Sept. 10, 2008, to pursue more innovative approaches to skating. However, he is retaining his eligible status and leaving the door open for a future return to Olympic sport. Altogether, this year’s show provides excellent family entertainment while helping to raise money for Boys & Girls of America by donating a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales.

In the year leading up to the 2010 Winter Games, fans will not find a better preview of America’s favorite Olympic sport. Founded and produced by Olympic champion and beloved figure skating icon Scott Hamilton, the Emmy Award-winning Smucker’s Stars on Ice tour is the only family entertainment event of its kind in America offering great music and inspiring athletes for an affordable price.
