The ninth annual Scott CARES Ice Show and Gala will be Saturday, November 8th at 5:00 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena. All proceeds from this event will be used to support research and patient programs at The Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center as well as further the mission of the Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative (Cancer Alliance for Research, Education and Survivorship).
World Champion Kimmie Meissner highlights additional Olympic and World Champion figure skaters including World Champion Todd Eldridge and US Champion Michael Weiss. All skaters will perform to the live music of The Cleveland Pops Orchestra and special guests star Kenny Loggins.
The CARES Initiative, a relationship between figure skater Scott Hamilton and The Cleveland Clinic, is an ongoing mission advocating cancer research and education while developing effective strategies to improve quality of life for individuals with cancer. Hamilton, an Olympic gold medalist, launched the CARES Initiative after being successfully treated for testicular and brain cancer at The Cleveland Clinic.
