Kid Rock celebrates the release of his latest album, Rock ‘N’ Roll Jesus, with a full-fledged North American tour

Detroit rap-rocker Kid Rock shot to superstardom in 1998 with the release of Devil Without a Cause. Upon its initial release, Devil Without a Cause didn't do much, but a big promotional push from the label and MTV helped make the album's second single and video, "Bawitdaba," a nationwide smash. The follow-up, "Cowboy," achieved similar success, and suddenly, Kid Rock was a superstar with a top five, seven-times-platinum album and a gig at Woodstock '99.
In 2007, Atlantic Records released Rock ‘N’ Roll Jesus. Building upon the successes of Kid Rock’s early career, the album contains a trademark mix of Southern rock, blues, country-tinged ballads, and hip-hop. “Rock ‘N’ Roll Jesus is a lot like all the other Kid Rock albums: Party music for people who lived through the '70s, or wish they did.” - Chicago Tribune
While Rock 'N' Roll Jesus continues to rack up massive sales, Kid Rock is taking the party to the streets with his most ambitious tour to date. The greatest show on earth, featuring a different kind of caged animal, is going to be unlike any tour in recent rock ‘n roll history – a true revue, featuring a huge Kid Rock show of new and greatest hits, with special guest performances by the legendary Reverend Run from Run DMC and Peter Wolf from the J.
