Antony Bonavita Named Vice President of Facility Operations and Mozelle Jackson Named Chief Financial Officer for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lake Erie Monsters and Quicken Loans Arena Organization
Cleveland, OH – June 10, 2010 – Cavaliers Holdings Co., LLC, which includes the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lake Erie Monsters and Quicken Loans Arena, is pleased to announce two new additions to its executive management team.
Antony Bonavita has been named the Vice President of Facility Operations. A Certified Facilities Executive (CFE), Bonavita brings over 14 years experience in facility and event management and is credited for his progressive thinking and implementing innovative operational procedures. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of Quicken Loans Arena and the Cavaliers practice facility, Cleveland Clinic Courts. His responsibilities will also include the execution of all events and activities with a strong focus on employee training and development, ensuring first class customer service and fan experiences.
Bonavita leaves Spurs Sports and Entertainment where he was the Assistant General Manager for the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas since 2008. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director of Athletics for Facility and Event Operations at Stony Brook University in New York where he also completed his master’s degree in Leadership and Management.
He is an active member of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) and the International Facility Managers Association (IFMA). Bonavita, his wife Jaclyn and son Dominic look forward to making northeast Ohio their new home.
Mozelle Jackson has been named Chief Financial Officer. With over 20 years experience in finance and operations, Jackson has a proven track record of success in supporting and enhancing business processes and procedures and producing sustainable results through high performance teams and operating efficiencies In her. position as CFO she will oversee all areas of accounting and finance, Sourcing, IT, Human Resources and Administration for the company.
She most recently was the CFO of Elyria Foundry. Prior to that, she was the Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Financial Officer for Fifth Third Bank in Northeastern Ohio. She also served as an Executive-in-Residence for Jumpstart and served as President of Weatherchem Corporation. She began her career at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Jackson graduated from Cleveland State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. A longtime northeast Ohio resident, Jackson lives in Solon with her husband Mike and their two children, Kaela and Jared.
