What is the age level requirement to enter Quicken Loans Arena?

Everyone two years of age or older is required to have a ticket to enter Quicken Loans Arena for an event. Children under the age of two, accompanied by an adult may enter without a ticket.

How do I get Girl Scout patches for Quicken Loans Arena events?

Girl Scout patches are mailed with tickets to address on order form. One patch for every ticket ordered will be mailed. For ticket orders that are held at the Quicken Loans Arena box office, patches will be held with the tickets. If you have not received your patches within two weeks following an event, please contact Emily Blair at (216) 420-2228 or e-mail eblair@cavs.com. No additional patches will be available for Girl Scouts not attending a performance. Lost patches cannot be replaced. Please be aware that some events, such as Cavaliers basketball, do not include patches. If patches are available for an event, that information is included on the order form or website.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing for each event is set by the promoter of the show. Pricing may vary within each event based on seating location and date of show.

How is seating determined?

All Girl Scout orders are placed based on the date of full payment. Orders are placed in the best available location within price level. Girl Scout offers are generally announced prior to the public on-sale. To get the best seats, place your order prior to the public on-sale. Special requests for handicap/wheelchair needs should be noted at the time of order.

What if I need additional tickets, after I have placed my order?

Additional tickets are available until the order deadline, or as available. Additional ticket locations cannot be guaranteed to be with original order. Every effort will be made to place additional orders near the original order.

Exchange/Returns/Refunds?

All sales are final. Tickets are non-returnable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Can I use coupons?

Coupons can only be used as stated on the coupon, generally at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office. Coupon offers may not be combined with Girl Scouts orders placed through Quicken Loans Arena Group Sales.

Friends and Family?

Girl Scouts may utilize their pricing offer for their family and friends.

Can my troop be seated next to another troop?

The only way to guarantee that your seats are next to another troop order is to place the order together at the same time.

I’ve ordered tickets, when will I receive them?

Orders placed within 10 days of the event date will not be mailed. These orders can be picked up at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office, during normal box office hours or on the event date prior to show time. All other orders will be mailed to the name/address on the order form.

My tickets were mailed, but they are lost or not received?

Lost/not-received tickets can be replaced on the day of event only. To request a re-print, call Emily Blair at (216) 420-2228 or e-mail eblair@cavs.com with the complete order information. You must know the exact section/row/seat that is lost to re-print individual tickets within a group. Otherwise, the entire order must be re-printed. Requests for re-prints will only be accepted on the day of event. Please make every effort to find lost tickets. Often, tickets that you believe should have arrived in the mail by now, do eventually arrive prior to your event date.

I want tickets for another performance date, other than those listed as Girl Scout Nights. Can I order those through Group Sales, and can I get patches?

If you are not attending the event, you may log into your Flash Seats account and email the seats to someone else, who would then present their own ID to enter the arena. Visit www.flashseats.com for more information.
• MAIL – Tickets delivered by mail should arrive within 10 business days from when the order was placed. Exception – Orders placed within 10 days of the event date will not be mailed. These orders can be picked up at the Quicken Loans Arena Box Office during normal box office hours or on the event date prior to show time.

Cleveland’s Top Talent Registration:

On Saturday, October 17th, the House of Blues will be the site of the first round of Cleveland’s Top Talent, a competitive talent showcase produced by the Cleveland Cavaliers and presented by the House of Blues and Chancellor University.

Cleveland’s Top Talent will provide a platform for the most talented Clevelanders to get on stage and show what they can do. Any form of talent is acceptable; singing, playing a musical instrument, dancing, stage performance, etc. After the opening round of auditions, the top ten talents will then be selected by Cavaliers talent scouts and posted via online video here on Cavs.com, the official site of the Cleveland Cavaliers, for fan voting.

Once the selection process narrows the field down to a final two, the top pair will be invited to compete for the title of Cleveland’s Top Talent during first half time outs during the Cavaliers game against Golden State on November 17.

The winner, as determined by text votes, will perform again during the game on October 17th and win a Cavaliers prize package.

Nickelback, who were named Billboard‘s ‘Group of Decade’ and kicked off 2010 by performing at the Closing Ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics, are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. They have extended their “Dark Horse World Tour”. The next leg of the tour, produced by Live Nation, will begin in September with a stop in Cleveland at The Q on Saturday, October 2nd at 6:15 p.m. Special Guests Three Days Grace and Buckcherry.

Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Quicken Loans Arena Suites:

• The maximum capacity of a Suite is 20 people. Each guest must possess either a Suite ticket (maximum of 12), Standing Room ticket (maximum of 6) or an Arena event ticket accompanied by a Guest Pass (maximum of 2).
• Suite doors open 2 ½ hours prior to each event except in the case of multiple performance days (circus, ice shows) where doors will open 1 hour prior to the event. Sound checks for concerts may also delay entrance to Suites. For all other attendees at the Arena, doors open 1 ½ hours prior to each event.
• Suiteholders will be notified of all confirmed events prior to the public on-sale date. This will allow for priority ordering of additional tickets before the actual on-sale date.
• Suiteholders have exclusive access to all Quicken Loans Arena meeting rooms and banquet space. Suiteholders do not pay a rental fee for function space.
• Included in the Suite License fee, Suiteholders receive 12 tickets and three (3) parking passes for all Cavaliers games along with all Quicken Loans Arena events. No additional cost is incurred for this ticketing.

Antony Bonavita has been named the Vice President of Facility Operations. A Certified Facilities Executive (CFE), Bonavita brings over 14 years experience in facility and event management and is credited for his progressive thinking and implementing innovative operational procedures. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of Quicken Loans Arena and the Cavaliers practice facility, Cleveland Clinic Courts. His responsibilities will also include the execution of all events and activities with a strong focus on employee training and development, ensuring first class customer service and fan experiences.

Bonavita leaves Spurs Sports and Entertainment where he was the Assistant General Manager for the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas since 2008. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director of Athletics for Facility and Event Operations at Stony Brook University in New York where he also completed his master’s degree in Leadership and Management.

He is an active member of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) and the International Facility Managers Association (IFMA). Bonavita, his wife Jaclyn and son Dominic look forward to making northeast Ohio their new home.

Mozelle Jackson has been named Chief Financial Officer. With over 20 years experience in finance and operations, Jackson has a proven track record of success in supporting and enhancing business processes and procedures and producing sustainable results through high performance teams and operating efficiencies In her. position as CFO she will oversee all areas of accounting and finance, Sourcing, IT, Human Resources and Administration for the company.

She most recently was the CFO of Elyria Foundry. Prior to that, she was the Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Financial Officer for Fifth Third Bank in Northeastern Ohio. She also served as an Executive-in-Residence for Jumpstart and served as President of Weatherchem Corporation. She began her career at Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Jackson graduated from Cleveland State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. A longtime northeast Ohio resident, Jackson lives in Solon with her husband Mike and their two children, Kaela and Jared.

Pearl Jam Announces 11-Date Midwest and East Coast Tour Including a Stop at The Q

Tickets on Sale Saturday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m.

As part of their 11 Midwest and East Coast tour dates in May of 2010, Pearl Jam will be making a tour stop at Quicken Loans Arena on May 9th at 7:30 p.m. Pearl Jam’s U.S. tour follows the band’s previously announced headlining appearance at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation Festival on May 1st. Band of Horses will open for Pearl Jam.

General public tickets ($69) for the show will go on sale Saturday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. through the Quicken Loans Arena box office, all Northern Ohio Discount Drug Marts and charge by phone 888-894-9424.

Pearl Jam recently announced that they will also play a series of select European festival and headlining tour dates in June and July of 2010. Roger Waters Commemorates 30th Anniversary of The Wall Album With Historic Tour & Monumental Production of His Masterpiece

Roger Waters’ The Wall North American Tour Comes to The Q September 28th

Roger Waters, co-founder and principal songwriter of the archetypal progressive band Pink Floyd, is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original release of The Wall with a monumental tour featuring a full band and a newly-mounted state-of-the-art production of his epochal masterpiece of alienation and transformation performed in its entirety.

Up to date details on Roger Waters’ The Wall Tour, and more, may be found on the artist’s newly relaunched and redesigned website, RogerWaters.com. Waters is personally involved with the site and will be communicating with fans through it.

The Wall has been previously performed live in its entirety by Waters just 31 times including Pink Floyd’s 1980-81 tour in support of the album. A spectacular Roger Waters solo staging and performance of the rock opera in July 1990, celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall, drew nearly a half million fans to the Potsdamer Platz.

Roger Waters’ The Wall North American Tour, produced by Live Nation, will open September 15 in Toronto and runs through December 13 at the Anaheim Honda Center (please see full itinerary following).

The New York Times (March 2, 1980) declared that “The Wall show remains a milestone in rock history, it will be the touchstone against which all future rock spectacles must be measured.”

Originally released in November 1979, The Wall was America’s top-selling album of 1980, is one of the top-selling double albums of all time, and is still in the US Top 5 best-selling albums of all time.

The Wall was made into a metaphorical musical film, directed by Alan Parker with screenplay by Roger Waters, in 1982.

One of the most profoundly influential albums in the history of recorded music, The Wall continues to affect pop culture while resonating with generations of music fans.
