One of Cleveland’s own, Kid Cudi will bring The Cud Life Tour to Quicken Loans Arena on Friday, July 1st . Touring in support of his latest album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, Cudi will be joined by special guest Chip Tha Ripper, also a Cleveland native.
Kid Cudi first gained major attention after the release of his 2008 debut mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi. In 2009, his single “Day ‘n’ Nite” reached the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. “Day ‘n’ Nite” is part of Cudi’s debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Last year he released Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager featuring “Erase Me” featuring Kanye West.
In March, Cudi announced that a music video for “Marijuana” will be released this spring, followed by a music video of “Mr. Rager” this summer. Additionally, the short film for “Maniac,” directed by Shia LaBeouf, will be released in October 2011.
